New Toilets Latest Improvement to Bury Market

Visitors to Bury's award-winning market will now find the shopping experience more comfortable than ever.
New public toilets have been built next to the subway at Angouleme Way, behind Chadwick's black pudding stall. They are free of charge, and will be open on full market days (Wednesday, Friday and Saturday).
Councillor Sandra Walmsley, cabinet member for resource and regulation, said: "The many thousands of visitors who come here each week expect, quite rightly, top quality toilets and we know that these new facilities will be very welcome. This investment, along with the installation of an ATM machine on the market, will help ensure that the famous Bury market will continue to go from strength to strength."
